Auto-launch applications, files, or folders upon laptop/PC startup

The Windows Startup folder is a place where you can add programs you want to open automatically when you turn on your computer. It's helpful for things like opening your antivirus, work apps, or any other software you use often—so you don’t have to open them yourself every time.

How to set it up?

Press Win + R to open Run command menu in Windows OS.
type shell:startup
Press Enter
Startup folder will be opened → now put your application/file/folder in this folder
- So whatever you put inside that folder will be opened automatically whenever your PC/Laptop starts.

Use case

Let’s say I want to open AutoCorrect.ahk (it’s very interesting, click here to know more) file every time my PC starts.
- So I will press Win+R → shell:startup → press Enter → move AutoCorrect.ahk file to this Startup folder
- Now that fill will be opened automatically whenever I open up the PC and it’ll auto correct my typing mistakes!
